I love what you guys are doing at this shelter. I stopped by the booth at the county fair to say hi to the two kitties and leave a donation. I might come by and adopt a kitty when I move to Denver from the mountains.

I adopted Truman and Satari a long time ago, but still volunteer at the shelter. I like to see how each cat grows and watch as more and more get adopted. The FIV cats always seem the nicest.

Re: Moocher on Save a Cat on FB: any updated photos of Moocher available? Not that his furlessness would stop me from adopting him (the fact that I am not near CO and we already have 2 cats we adopted) I just thought that maybe if there was a current photo and he was not so scruffy then maybe someone might see him and say 'Yes, that's that cat for me'! Note from ARAS: He's taking his time growing his fur back. Some areas are still bald, some areas are fully furred, some only peach fuzz. He's the most lovable odd-looking cat! Will have a new photo posted soon. Thanks!

We adopted Alfalfa two years ago this Thanksgiving as a kitten. He was the most loving kitten and turned into the funniest and best cat in the world. He will be missed and remembered for years to come after his passing Aug.4, 2010.
