Our mission and our needs are serious. There's always a lot that needs done, from the basics of answering phones and cleaning, to grant writing, educational outreach and even Bingo! Our volunteers make our mission possible.

All  Volunteer Candidates must be interviewed prior to placement. To start, simply contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kevin, at the phone number or E-mail listed below.  Once that is done, you'll be on your way to helping RMFR fulfill its vital purpose. We serve those in need and help the world be a more humane place, reaching out and speaking out for those who can't speak for themselves. All volunteers receive a handbook guiding their time with the shelter and an on-site orientation, where they learn the HOWs, WHENs, WHEREs of being a volunteer at RMFR. If you have the time, open your heart, and join us. You can make a world of difference. It can be one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences you will ever have.
