Bequest Language
In order to make a bequest, you should consult with your attorney. Your attorney can ultimately help you with including a bequest to RMFR in your estate plan, but we have provided some basic language below to assist you and your attorney.
Specific Bequest
If you are considering making an outright bequest to RMFR, we recommend the following language:
Bequest of a Specific Dollar Amount
I hereby give, devise and bequeath _________ and No/100 dollars ($DOLLARS) to Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue, a nonprofit organization located at 2390 S. Delaware St., Denver, CO 80219, Federal Tax ID #84-0862418, for Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue’s general use and purpose.
Bequest of Specific Personal Property
I hereby give, devise and bequeath DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY to Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue, a nonprofit organization located at 2390 S. Delaware Street, Denver, CO, 80219, Federal Tax ID#84-0862418, for Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue's general use and purpose.
